I recently wrote a few posts about other Homelite chainsaws. I included the gas models as well as some electric ones depending on what you need. This 18 inch Homelite Chain Saw is a new one for me though. The 18 inch bar is what really makes this Homelite stand out. As you can see, the specs on this saw make it a great buy – but what’s more than that is the warranty. As you all know just like I do – if you’re gonna be logging, eventually, you’re gonna get the saw stuck or have to throw it if a tree falls a certain way you’re no expecting. That being said, the warranty is an excellent thing to have in this scenario.
Secondly, the Chain Brake is something that’s becoming more common in chainsaws today, but still – not all saws have them. That’s another reason I like this Homelite. The Homelite Chain Brake has saved lives, and you might not think kickback could take yours, but with the Homelite UT10580, they do everything they can do produce safety in the work zone.
